A man killed over the past weekend at his Slidell home was identified by the St. Tammany Parish Coroner's Office Tuesday as 66-year-old Anthony Oatise.

On Friday night, Oatise was discovered by St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's deputies at his home on the 62000 block of West End Boulevard, according to the Coroner's Office. His death was ruled a homicide.

Officials did not give the time when Oatise was discovered.

Oatise's cause of death was withheld pending the ongoing investigation, according to the Coroner's Office.

Neither the Coroner's Office nor the St. Tammany Sheriff's Office released additional information about the homicide.
