Dreaming of a white Christmas? We may get one in Michigan.

The Old Farmer's Almanac issued its 2025 Christmas forecast and said some areas of the state are in for a snowy holiday.

The forecast says Michigan's Upper Peninsula and areas of northern Michigan have a chance of white Christmas, and predicts the rest of the state will have snowfall on Christmas.

"Northern Maine, Minnesota, North Dakota, Michigan, and Wisconsin can practically guarantee a blanket of snow on Christmas Day since snow begins falling earlier in the month and these northern areas have freezing temperatures to avoid snow melt," the Almanac said in its report .
