It's a pivotal point in the season for North Carolina, as Bill Belichick's team needs to win out to become bowl eligible and salvage what's largely been a dismal season. So, naturally, the longtime New England Patriots coach had his eyes on the competition.
This competition, however, was unfamiliar for Belichick. The 73-year-old appeared at the North Carolina competitive cheerleading debut of his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson on Sunday, and in typical Belichick fashion he donned a hoodie and a stone-faced expression.
Belichick is seemingly returning the favor of Hudson, who's been a fixture at North Carolina games this season. Her presence has been rife with controversy, though, as the Tar Heels had to issue a statement in May confirming she was not banned from the football facility despite contrary reporting from the Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast.
Belichick and the Tar Heels close the regular season against rivals Duke and NC State. And despite chatter of him being one-and-done in Chapel Hill, the six-time Super Bowl champion has confirmed he'll be back in 2026. Much to some Tar Heels fans' chagrin, Hudson likely will be too.
