Most people have used last year’s postal strike to end sending Christmas cards which in fact card sending was never on their list to do. I still think it is special to use snail mail and be scam free. Cards are a delight to send and with a note attached, much appreciated.

Before we headed west for our BC holiday to see family, neighbours and friends, I sent a note with our contact phone message information. As we arrived to the various locations through out BC, we received calls to confirm some meeting arrangements. Summer is a busy time and people have many things pre-booked so the notes via Canada Post came in really handy. We were able to see and enjoy all the people on our travel list.

As time goes on these meetings and sharing with friends and relatives should not be taken for grant
