The Boston Bruins could soon be getting star forward Elias Lindholm back in the lineup.
Boston will begin a four-game road trip on Wednesday in Anaheim, and Lindholm will travel with the team. Lindholm hasn’t played since Oct. 30 due to an injury, but he is inching closer to a return.
Although Lindholm is traveling with the team, Bruins head coach Marco Sturm won’t confirm if he will play on the trip, but is hopeful he will.
“Probably like a hope, I would say,” Sturm said on Tuesday. “It’s one of those things where every day we are like, ‘How are you doing today?’
“It is a good thing that he will travel, that means we are having hope that he will maybe play at one point. But, as of right now, I don’t know. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t. It is obviously day by day.”
