NCDHHS confirms SNAP benefits were issued on Nov. 14

Update: On Monday, Nov. 17, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) confirmed that SNAP benefits were loaded onto EBT cards on the morning of Friday, Nov. 14.

Responding to reports that the USDA will require SNAP recipients to re-apply for their benefits, an NCDHHS spokesperson told the Voice that it “has not received new guidance on SNAP recertifications from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.”
