KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - November is more than halfway over. The promotions are everywhere. Sports fans are counting down the days.

Sports betting in Missouri takes effect Dec. 1, 2025, and one Kansas City-area casino on the Show-Me State side of the line is launching a sportsbook.

Argosy Casino & Hotel will debut The Sportsbook Restaurant & Bar on Dec. 1. It promises to be “a fully immersive, state-of-the-art wagering and viewing destination” alongside the launch of the Score Bet mobile app (currently ESPN BET).
