MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) - The Vermont Statehouse Christmas tree is officially up in the Capital City.
Officials say the balsam fir is 41 feet tall and comes from Middlesex. It was installed on Tuesday, and crews are now putting up the lights.
The installation comes ahead of the tree lighting ceremony on December 9, where there will be decorations, drummers, sheep, and reindeer.
