PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Numerous road closures, parking restrictions and detours have been announced ahead of the Chocolate Turkey 5K Run/1-Mile Walk next week.

They begin at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 and go through 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, along Southwest Washington and Southwest Water streets.

The 5K route is as follows:

Runners will start mid-block on S.W. Water Street between Liberty Street and Main Street. Runners will race northeast along Water Street before traveling north on Eaton Street and then southwest on N.E. Washington Street. Runners will turn around midblock on S.W. Washington Street between Pecan Street and S. MacArthur Highway and run northeast back down S.W. W
