Angela Constance has snubbed MSPs over claims she misrepresented the views of an expert on a grooming gangs inquiry for Scotland.
The Justice Secretary failed to appear at Holyrood despite the First Minister indicating she would “give an answer to parliament”.
Constance was instead “travelling on Scottish Government business”.
The row was triggered by comments Constance made over the Government’s refusal to hold a national inquiry into grooming gangs.
