Disney has released the first trailer for Moana, a live-action remake of their hit 2016 animated film. The film will see Dwayne Johnson reprise the role of Maui in live-action, with newcomer Catherine Laga'aia stepping into the role of Moana. Set for release on Jul. 10, 2026, the movie will arrive just four months shy of the original animated film's ten-year anniversary.
