ORLANDO, Fla. – Kroger’s decision to end its delivery service in Florida shocked customers on Tuesday.
The grocery store company is also closing its fulfillment facility in Groveland, and 1,400 employees will lose their jobs.
Kroger sent notices to its affected customers that delivery service would end on Feb. 1, 2026.
There are several grocery stores in Florida that either offer their own delivery services, or partner with a delivery group.

Instacart.com is probably the biggest of the grocery delivery services and offers the largest variety of stores.
