SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

As the countdown continues to the start of the busy holiday travel season, Sacramento International Airport continues to see more and more travelers flying into and out of Sacramento.

"We are seeing record passenger volumes every month and every year right now. We're in 22 months of record year over year growth," said Lindsay Myers, an airport spokeswoman. "So, that means a lot of people coming to SMF which is awesome and we want to keep up with that."

As part of the effort to keep pace and meet the needs of those passengers, Sacramento International Airport held a formal grand opening ceremony for West Coast Sourdough deli, its newest food offering in both Terminal A and B.
