COLUMBIA, S.C. — The holiday season officially begins with tree lighting ceremonies and Christmas displays getting lit up for the first time this weekend.
There's the Fireflies Holiday Lights at Segra Park, Wild Lights at Riverbanks Zoo, Vista Lights, the Festival of Trees, and the Governor's Carolighting wraps up the "official" beginning of the Christmas season on Sunday.
On stage, wander Into the Woods at Trustus in Columbia, head over to Orangeburg for Legally Blonde: The Musical, or up to Newberry for a Branson Country Christmas.
Drive over to Camden to check out the corgi races, a set up for the Colonial Cup steeplechase on Saturday.
Or you can rest up for next week when Thursday is Thanksgiving and Saturday, November 29, brings the Carolina-Clemson game to Williams-Brice. Gamecoc
