EAST GRAND FORKS – The Sacred Heart School's Drama Club is performing a murder-mystery-comedy, "Deadline," this week in the school's auditorium, 200 Third St. N.W.
The play by Don Zolidis is set for 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 20 and 21, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
Tom Brosseau, of Grand Forks, the writer and host of the Great American Folk Show for Prairie Public Broadcasting, is directing the 90-minute, two-act play, along with assistant director Sherry Knott, the school’s choir director.
“It’s been a real hoot putting it together,” said Brosseau, who describes the play as “a whodunit, with little bits of ‘Clue’ and ‘Murder She Wrote.’ It’s almost a love story.”
