Urges people to safeguard contributions of fallen heroes
Jammu Tawi, Nov 19: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday said that the dream of building an “Atmanirbhar and Adhunik” (self-reliant and modern) Jammu & Kashmir stands on the sacrifices made by security forces, J&K Police, farmers, youth and women. The LG paid obeisance at the ancient Shiv Temple in Purmandal and participated in the Devika Maha Aarti.
Addressing devotees, LG Sinha urged the people to collectively honour and safeguard the peace secured by the martyrs. He said the past five to six years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have brought a new era of peace and development to J&K, adding that the administration continues to work relentlessly for sustained progress despite challenges.
