Zombies were all the rage in the 2010s, thanks to the success of The Walking Dead and movies like World War Z . But in the wake of the mega popularity of The Last of Us , the traditional zombie apocalypse has been reinvented. And that reinvention continues in the new film We Bury the Dead , starring the Star Wars sequel trilogy’s Daisy Ridley . The new film, from writer/director Zak Hilditch, also stars former Nightwing Brenton Thwaites from Titans . Also in the cast are Mark Coles Smith ( Mystery Road: Origin ) and Narcos’ Matt Whelan.
