SALT LAKE CITY — A man was shot Wednesday morning in Salt Lake City, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.
Sgt. Greg Wilkin told KSL the shooting occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Paramount Avenue, near 300 West. Wilkin said the man who was shot had injuries that were considered minor, but the unidentified shooter had left the scene.
Investigators were also working to identify the circumstances of the shooting.
Wilkin said 300 West would be closed for some time on Wednesday morning, which would cause traffic delays during the morning commute hours.
Police said the incident seemed to be isolated and didn’t believe there was any further danger to the public.
