KASSON, Minn. — In her third and final performance on “The Voice,” Cori Kennedy “let the feathers fly” with a rock song in the knockout round against contestant Aaron Nichols.
While coach Reba McEntire praised both musicians for their “great range,” Nichols won the knockout. Kennedy, a West Concord native and 2015 Kasson-Mantorville graduate, shared her “rugged” voice in “You and I” by Lady Gaga with a full band adding to her experience of firsts on the national stage. She opened the show for the second time this season.
