Montgomery police have charged a suspect in a September fatal shooting.

It happened around 3:43 a.m. in the 3100 block of Virginia Loop Road.

Once officers and fire medics arrived, they found 50-year-old Timeko Coleman dead from a gunshot wound.

Montgomery police have charged 53-year-old Kurtavious Davis with capital murder.

Davis was taken into custody on November 19 and booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
