Wesley Yates scored 23 points and Desmond Claude added 20 as Washington rallied to defeat Southern 99-93 in double overtime Tuesday night in Seattle.

Quimari Peterson added 15 points for the Huskies (4-1), including a driving layup with 1.9 seconds left in the first overtime to tie the score. Lathan Sommerville scored 10 points and fellow center Franck Kepnang had six points, 12 rebounds and a career-high six blocked shots.

Michael Jacobs scored 24 points to lead the upset-minded Jaguars (2-3), who led by 12 points on multiple occasions, the last with 13:17 left in regulation. Cam Amboree added 18 points and nine assists and Terrance Dixon Jr. had 17 points and six rebounds before fouling out.
