A Farmington Hills woman is facing criminal charges for a traffic crash last summer that killed one Oakland County road worker and injured two others.
Kimberly Regina Taylor, 59, was arraigned Wednesday in 47th District Court on one count of moving violation causing death in a work zone — a 15-year felony — and two counts of moving violation causing injury in a work zone, a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail for the July 23 crash in Farmington Hills.
According to the Farmington Hills Police Department, the crash happened on Orchard Lake Road near Misty Pines Drive where a crew from the Road Commission of Oakland County was working near the median. The three men were struck shortly after 11 a.m. by an SUV driven by Taylor.
