Brantford city councillors are backing plans for a new $100-million home for Lansdowne Children’s Centre.
“I’ve seen first hand the work that Lansdowne does and I’ve seen the fundraising events like the Heroes Walk and Roll,” Coun. Michael Sullivan said at Tuesday city council committee-of-the-whole meeting. “I have also seen the positive impacts Lansdowne has had on the lives of children.

“I’ve toured Lansdowne on several occasions and have seen a lot of smiling faces.”
The Ward 1 councillor said the opportunities given to children by Lansdowne are second to none.
Lansdowne supports children with a range of physical, communication and development challenges including autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida and neurological conditions.
