WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Senate has approved a bill compelling the Justice Department to release files related to Jeffrey Epstein, now awaiting President Trump's signature.
The House showed overwhelming support for the bill with a 427 to 1 vote. The lone Republican dissenting is currently facing a censure vote as debates continue in Washington.
The proposed legislation mandates the Justice Department to disclose the files and communication concerning Epstein within 30 days. This includes details about the investigation into his death.
President Trump has indicated his intention to sign the bill into law.
