A 45-year-old Connecticut man who pleaded guilty to enticing underage girls to send him nude photos and videos will spend the next seven years behind bars, federal authorities said. 

Daryl Todd, of Vernon, was sentenced to 84 months in prison and five years probation after his release, the US Attorney for Connecticut said this week. He pleaded guilty in April to receipt of child pornography. 

Investigators said Todd used Snapchat to exchange nude photographs with the underage victims. He would sometimes pay them using Cash App for sexually explicit pictures and videos of themselves. 

Police found the child sexual abuse material on his cellphone and tablet in March 2024, authorities said. 

Todd, who is out on $100,000 bond, must report to prison on January 7.
