Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported early in 2025 that GM Howie Roseman wanted to make a “big swing,” and Garrett was part of that plan. Months later, Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports said on 102.5 The Game that the Eagles were “super hot after Myles Garrett” and even mentioned a possible cost of three first-round picks. That helped the rumor grow even stronger.
