Wednesday, Major League Baseball announced it is once again holding a signature event at the field constructed next to the iconic "Field of Dreams" movie site in the northeast Iowa town of Dyersville. The Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies will play each other there on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026. The game will be streamed on Netflix.

On Aug. 11, 2026, the Iowa Cubs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, will host the St. Paul Saints, the Triple-A affiliate of the Twins. This will mark the second Minor League Baseball game played in Dyersville, as the Midwest League’s Cedar Rapids Kernels (Twins’ High-A affiliate) played the Quad Cities River Bandits (Kansas City Royals’ High-A affiliate) in Dyersville on Aug. 9, 2022.
