DE PERE, Wis. (WBAY) - Nicolet Ale Works, a local craft brewery, announced plans Wednesday to open in downtown De Pere.

The new facility, located at 301 Main Avenue, will be the first brewery in downtown De Pere.

It will feature an increased brewing capacity, a taproom highlighting local beers and a dog-friendly, family-welcoming outdoor beer venue.

“A space for the community to come, bring your family, come down, relax, hangout, we just have something really special planned for De Pere, so we’re really excited about that,” said Ben Rank, the co-owner of Nicolet Ale Works.

The city of De Pere excited for the new facility, calling it a key addition to the city’s evolving Alley District.

The brewery is scheduled to open in fall of 2026.
