Country music's biggest night is here, and it's looking like a big one for Lainey Wilson. The nine-time CMA winner opened the 2025 Country Music Awards by thanking the organization for allowing her to host for a third time, before she went into a medley of her favorite country songs ever, including "Hillbilly Deluxe" by Brooks & Dunn, "Gunpowder and Lead" from Miranda Lambert , and Gretchen Wilson "Redneck Woman". Little Big Town then joined Lainey from the audience on an acoustic version of "Girl Crush," and then Keith Urban arrived on the stage rocking his guitar to sing his 1999 hit "Where the Blacktop Ends" with Lainey.
