A severely emaciated dog was found in Wall, now rescuers are looking for answers.

A severely emaciated dog was found near a New Jersey park on Tuesday, Nov. 18, and animal officials are asking for the public’s help to find out what happened.

The severely emaciated dog that was found around Shark River Park in Wall, the Monmouth SPCA said. The young intact male is now in the agency’s care, it said. 

The dog was found trembling, starving, and looking so hopeless, the SPCA said. After just a few hours the dog had started to wag his tail and seek comfort from humans.
