STORRS – The No. 3 UConn men’s basketball team will now be without two starters as it welcomes No. 4 Arizona for only the second-ever top-five matchup in Gampel Pavilion Wednesday night.
In addition to five-star freshman Braylon Mullins , who has yet to make his regular-season debut as he recovers from an ankle injury, the Huskies announced they will also be without star center, Tarris Reed Jr., who is also dealing with an ankle injury.
Reed, who missed both exhibitions and the season opener due to a hamstring injury, has been a game-changer for the team since he made his season debut in a 110-47 win over UMass Lowell. He had 21 points and eight rebounds as he helped the team to a win over then-No. 7 BYU at TD Garden on Saturday night
