The New England Patriots have one of the best offenses in the NFL, and a significant reason is wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
Diggs has been impressive this season, tallying 59 receptions for 659 yards and three touchdowns over the course of 11 games.
There was a chance Diggs wouldn’t have joined the Patriots this season, as he was a free agent and likely had better options at the time. New England was coming off a disappointing four-win season, and with head coach Mike Vrabel stepping in for his first year and quarterback Drake Maye entering his second season, no one was certain about the team’s future.
However, Diggs told reporters on Wednesday that he joined New England because of Drake Maye, Mike Vrabel, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and receivers coach Todd Downing.
