CEDAR COUNTY, Neb. (KTIV) - The husband and wife convicted in a quadruple homicide in Laurel, Nebraska, four years ago have important hearings this week.
The 86-year-old Gene Twiford, his wife, 85-year-old Janet Twiford and their 55-year-old daughter Dana Twiford were shot and killed in their home on Aug. 4, 2022. Two blocks away that same morning, 53-year-old Michele Ebeling was also shot in killed in her home. Each home was then set on fire.
The murders rocked the small Northeast Nebraska community.
Jason and Carrie Jones were each convicted in separate trials of their roles in a quadruple homicide and arson in August 2022 in Laurel, Nebraska.
