DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine (WABI) - We’re about a week away from Thanksgiving, and one organization in Piscataquis County is doing its part to help families get the full holiday meal experience.
“It’s really heartwarming to see people who care enough to give up their time to stand out in the cold and help people at Thanksgiving,” said Kelly Sirimoglu, the Executive Director of the Piscataquis Regional Food Center.
On Wednesday, the Piscataquis Regional Food Center continued their tradition of providing Thanksgiving meals to their shoppers.
The meals included a Turkey, or chicken as well as things such as stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, and more.
