Apple has announced the finalists for the 2025 App Store Award. The company announced the 45 finalists for the year’s best apps and games across 12 categories.

Vancouver-based Essayist is among the finalists, in the Mac App of the Year category, as is Toronto-made Venba in the Cultural Impact category. There are also a ton of fun games such as Prince of Persia: Lost Crown , Dredge, Neva, Pokemon TCG Pocket and more that are also up for Mac and iPad Game of the Year Finalists.
