Hundreds gathered in the heart of east Charlotte to protest Border Patrol’s immigration enforcement dubbed ‘Operation Charlotte’s Web.’
Since Monday, November 17th dozens of protesters have been holding signs and chanting as cars drive down Central Avenue, an area known for its Hispanic and Latino population.
As agents continued their operation throughout the city, residents flooded the area Tuesday evening.
Hundreds of protesters filled the street with flags and signs against the immigration crackdown. Additional protests have been planned and WCCB Charlotte will continue to follow
