William “Scott” Mitchell, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully in his residence on November 17, 2025. He was born on June 6, 1967 and lived a vibrant life of 58 years.

Scott’s warm spirit and infectious laughter will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill & Boots Mitchell of Bean Station, Tn. and many aunts & uncles, grandparents, cousins and friends.

Scott is survived by;

His wife; Sarah Spring

Children; Dustin Mitchell of Hickory, NC., Dakota Mitchell of Morristown and Natasha (Brandon) Stump of Hickory, NC.

His family was the cornerstone of his life. He took immense pride in being a father and cherished every moment spent with his children.
