UNIVERSITY PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Student Union building at the center of the University of Southern California campus was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon due to a reported bomb threat.
The USC Department of Public Safety first issued an alert around 2:30 p.m., advising students to stay away from the area.
AIR7 flew over the area, where campus police and Los Angeles police were seen parked around the Student Union Building, keeping students away.
By 3 p.m., authorities determined the bomb threat was false and issued an all-clear, telling students it was safe to return to the building.
