BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) - The Berrien County Health Department and sheriff’s office are reminding parents of gun safety and gun laws in acknowledgement of Child Safety and Protection Month.
Berrien County officials are working to improve gun safety and are offering free gun locks to keep children safe.
The locks are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Berrien County Health Department’s Benton Harbor office (2149 E. Napier Avenue).
Gun locks are available for pickup Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. while supplies last.
