AUBURN — Four games into a young season, Auburn basketball 's looking to get back in the win column tonight, hosting Jackson State.
The first loss was a heartbreaker, as the Tigers fell 73-72 to No. 2 Houston on Sunday, Nov. 16, unable to secure a go-ahead bucket in the contest's final possession. In one sense, it was a positive sign that an overhauled roster came so close to upsetting a national powerhouse. Still, it was a loss, and for the Tigers to dupe any of the remaining ranked foes on this season's slate, they'll have to beat Jackson State in their return to Neville Arena.
"Our guys (have) got to understand that we've got to have the same type of preparation that we did for Houston in order to get ready for a good Jackson State team," head coach Steven Pearl said Tuesday,
