Matt Senneca has been through the state playoffs before in a variety of roles.
First, he was a player on a 1994 Allentown Central Catholic team that reached the state semifinals in 1996 before losing to Berwick.
Then he was an assistant on a Liberty High staff that made three visits in four seasons to Hersheypark Stadium for state championship games, winning the last appearance in 2008.
Finally, he was a head coach at Whitehall in 2022 when he led the Zephyrs into the Class 5A quarterfinals before losing to Imhotep Charter.
Now, Senneca has Easton in the 6A quarterfinals, and as has been the case for more than a decade, the District 11 champion gets matched up with a District 12 powerhouse in the quarterfinals just one week after celebrating district gold.
