Colorado might see a familiar face on the opposite sideline this week at Folsom Field.

Arizona State receiver Jordyn Tyson is hoping to return from a hamstring injury and play against his former team when they meet Saturday (6 p.m., ESPN2).

Tyson, who played for CU in 2022, is one of the top receivers in the country and leads ASU with 57 catches for 628 yards and eight touchdowns. He’s missed the past three games, however, because of injury.

Tyson has returned to practice this week, and ASU head coach Kenny Dillingham said a determination will be made based on how Tyson feels after Thursday’s practice.

A return to Folsom Field has been on Tyson’s mind for a while.

“Yes, he’s been shooting for this,” Dillingham said to ASU media Wednesday. “This is what he’s wanted.”
