DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Duplin County deputies have arrested a Pink Hill man accused of sexually assaulting a child back in October.

Last Friday, 34-year-old Richard Leary was charged with first-degree statutory sex offense and indecent liberties with a child.

According to the sheriff’s office, the assault was reported to deputies October 15th.

Leary is being held in jail on a $100,000 secured bond.
