DES MOINES, Iowa —

Des Moines police are asking for the public's help finding a suspect wanted for a theft during an online marketplace exchange.

Police say a planned sale of a MacBook computer was scheduled for Oct. 15 at a business at 31st Street and University Avenue after being arranged on Facebook Marketplace. The victim and suspect met, and the suspect stole the item before fleeing on a motorcycle, according to officers.
