COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police are investigating after two people were found dead Wednesday morning inside a home in Crawford County.
According to Chief Jason Kitzmiller with the Village of Crestline Police Department, officers were called around 10 a.m. to a home in the 700 block of North Henry Street after receiving a call for a welfare check.
Upon arrival, they reportedly tried to contact people at the home but failed. Kitzmiller said officers later entered the home and found two dead bodies on the premises.
There is no active threat to the public, he added.
The investigation remains ongoing.
