With new reports claiming that Brainiac will be the main villain of 2027’s Man of Tomorrow , it's worth the reminder that we already know which actor would be best-suited to play the upcoming Superman sequel villain in live-action, having played the classic foe as recently as last year.

Without a doubt, Brainiac has been long overdue for a big-screen live-action debut, being one of Superman’s most iconic and terrifying foes in the original DC Comics. That said, 2024 gave us a truly excellent Brainiac in animation, voiced by the perfect actor who could easily reprise the role in live-action and the new DCU.
