Adam Lowry is staying with the only team he’s ever known.

The Winnipeg Jets and their captain agreed to a five-year contract extension on Wednesday, the team announced.

Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reported that the deal is for a total of $25 million over the five years.

Lowry, 32, has played in just seven games this season after missing the beginning of the season due to hip surgery he had in May.

He made his season debut on Nov. 4 and has one goal and two assists.

Lowry was playing this season on the final year of a five-year, $16.25-million deal he signed in April 2021.

The St. Louis native has played his entire career with the Jets after the team drafted him in the third round of the 2011 NHL Draft.

Lowry has recorded 122 goals and 154 assists over 782 career games with Winnipe
