WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – A recently-retired Great Bend teacher remains hospitalized after he and his family were injured in a car crash last week in Colorado.

On Nov. 14, Dan, Kim and Quinton Heath were returning to their Denver hotel when their vehicle was struck from behind and pushed into the concrete median. Parents Dan and Kim were accompanying their son and Great Bend High School senior Quinton on a college visit.
