CNN-- Wednesday night, President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that he has signed the bill, directing the Department of Justice to publicly release all Jefrey Epstein-related files.
Formally titled the Epstein Files Transparency Act, the bill was passed by the House on Tuesday with a vote of 427 to 1.
The Senate agreed through unanimous consent to deem the bill passed as soon as it had been received from the House, which happened Wednesday morning.
It is currently not clear how the DOJ would release the files or if the information would remain tied up for ongoing investigations. Share
