The newest site for the Purple Cat, a day program for adults with unique and special needs in Youngstown, is holding an open house on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Youngstown.
The West Federal Street location will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and feature art and gifts made by Purple Cat artists as well as quick lunches catered by Gallagher's Lunch Bucket.
The new location will feature live disco shows and Holiday pop-up shops throughout the year.
The Open House will feature the Purple Cat member-led band The Feral Cats performing disco favorites, with snacks and refreshments provided on Thursday.
The event takes place at 107 West Federal Street in downtown Youngstown.
